Veterans Memorial Park - Millinocket

Veterans Memorial Park on the South end of "Downtown" Millinocket is a quintessential feature of the Katahdin region. It's iconic gazebo functions as the center piece of many festivals and music events each year. The park is home to a veteran's memorial, several benches and walking paths, shade trees, and plenty of grassy area for your enjoyment.

Veterans Memorial Park is conveniently located near to the Scootic In Restaurant, the Appalachian Trail Hostel, and hosts Daigle's Icecream Van.

Each year the park is a venue for many events like the Trail's End Festival, Millinocket Farmers' and Artisians' Market, and the Town of Millinocket's Bandstand Jams concert series.

Location: This triangular shaped town park is located at the southern terminus of Penobscot Ave. with Katahdin Ave. to the West and Poplar St. to the North.
