SHERMAN OLD HOME DAYS 2026! Celebrate Labor Day weekend in true small-town style at Sherman Old Home Days in Sherman, Maine! Enjoy four days of parades, live music, delicious local food, friendly competitions, and family fun. From the themed parade and fireworks to lobster dinners, craft fairs, and nostalgic gatherings, it’s the perfect blend of tradition and community spirit in the heart of Maine.

9:30 AM — Registration for Corner Walk & Color Run at the Bandstand
10:00 AM — Corner Walk & Color Run begins
10:00 AM — Bandstand opens, hosted by Wolting Whiskers
10:00 AM — Book Sale by Friends of the Library
10:00 AM — Wiley Tozier-Pezz Annual Poker Run starts at Masonic Hall
10:00 AM — Auction and Yard Sale by Sherman Area Historical Society
12:00 PM — Veronica Ewell Annual Kids Bike Ride & Obstacle Course on Church Street, by Jeremy & Redemption
4:00 PM — Sherman High Alumni Social Hour at Sherman Gym
5:00 PM — Sherman High Alumni Banquet at Sherman Gym
4/5-7 PM Pageant Dress Rehearsals
6:30 PM — Public Dance for all ages at the Town Office parking lot
8 PM - Adult Dance

2:00 PM — Miss Sherman Old Home Days Pageant at Sherman Gym, ages 7–19

8:00 AM — Co-ed Softball Tournament at Sherman Gym
10:00 AM — Parade: “America’s 250th”

After the Parade

10:30 AM — National Wildlife & Waters educational booth and games
