Baby Ruthie's location is ideal for a variety of visitors. It is located a couple hundred feet off the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Scenic Byway and 18 miles East of the South Gate into Baxter State Park. Diagonal across the street is the Millinocket Heritage Plaza - a public park with picnic tables. Down the street a block is Moose Prints Gallery, a world class artisian gift shop and gallery. Several other shops and points of interest are in the immediate area, including the Michaud Trail for walking and biking. Baby Ruthie's offers indoor & outdoor seating, as well as take-out food.

Their menu has a wide variety of food from seafood platters and lobster rolls, burgers and dogs with potato salad, to chicken tomato rice soup. They also offer a list of sides and yummy appetizers like crab cakes & poutine.
