A full-service stop: gas station, convenience store, and eat-in/take-out restaurant. Offers fuel, basic groceries, hot meals, snacks, and services such as a 24/7 wrecker — especially useful for travelers, snowmobilers, and ATV riders heading toward Shin Pond, Baxter, or northern byway areas.

Opening Hours: Typically 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (Sat until 3:00 PM; closed Sundays)

  • The Byway travels through vast, lightly populated areas — knowing where to find fuel, groceries, and basic supplies is essential.
  • Stores may operate on seasonal or limited hours, so planning ahead helps ensure a smoother trip.
  • Supporting these locally owned stores strengthens the rural communities that serve travelers year-round.
  • Local gas stations provide more than just fuel: convenience items, snack/meal options, supplies for outdoor activities (ice, firewood, maps), information and easy access before heading into areas with few amenities.
  • For visitors planning longer leg trips, especially toward the northern or more isolated sections (Patten, Shin Pond, Baxter access), stopping at these stations ensures you’re prepared with essentials.
  • Use an offline-capable app (e.g., Avenza/GPX), as cellphone service is limited and in some places, non-existent.
  • Respect land stewardship—carry out trash, follow all regulations and signs, use designated parking, etc.
